A'oga aso Sa - The Sunday School

O le A'oga aso Sa e faia i le aso Sa mo a'oa'oga faale-Lotu, ma e tatau ona i ai ni faia'oga ma tamaiti o lea A'oga. (Sunday school: a school held on Sunday for religious education also: the teachers and pupils of such a school.

(Sunday school purposes, started by Missionaries who brought the Gospel to Samoa in 1830. They had a meeting with the Samoan church Councils, and unfortunately, the children made much noise. Then they initiated this school on Sunday where poor children could learn to read, pray, and sing to the Lord instead of doing careless manner)

(Importance of Sunday school For most observant adherents of Christianity, Sunday is generally observed as a day of worship and rest, recognising it as the Lord's Day and the day of Christ's resurrection.)
